Arrival & Departure

All students should arrive on Sunday, June 27 (Session One) or Monday, July 19 (Session Two).

Students must arrive for registration between 10:00 and 16:00. Lunch is offered between 11:00 and 14:00.

These days are registration days for all age groups. Students receive information about the program and meet our staff and other students. Older students confirm trips and activities.

CDE, MSP, and HSP students will have their registration on our main campus, located at Via Collina d'Oro 15, Montagnola.

Minnows will have their registration at Al Focolare, Via Bora di Besa 9, 6925 Collina d’Oro.

After registration, day students may go home. Boarding students will settle in and participate in a variety of activities.

Session One: Monday, June 28
Session Two: Tuesday, July 20

Class days usually begin at around 9:00 for HSP, 8:15 for MSP, 8:30 for CDE, and 8:45 for Minnows.

Boarding students traveling without an adult may sign up for our arrival pick-up and departure drop-off service to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) and the Lugano train station (LUG).

Shuttles will be available to students whose flight arrives/departs MXP between the hours 9:00–17:00 on the designated travel days (Sunday, June 27 or Monday, July 20).

If your child’s flight arrives/departs outside these times you will need to arrange for private transportation. We can provide contacts for a reliable taxi service. (Note: we do not offer pick-up or drop-off service to LIN, BGY, or ZRH airports).

Unaccompanied Minor (UM) Service is an airline service for children who travel without a parent or legal guardian. The age requirement is determined by the airline (not TASIS) and families need to book this service directly with the airline. If you will be booking the UM service for your child, please note that you will be charged a CHF 200 fee from TASIS as we will need to provide an additional chaperone to manage the handoff with the airline staff.

**Each country has its own laws regarding minors traveling alone. Please ensure you know both the airline policy and the regulations of the passport country.

***Unless the airline requires that the student travel with the UM service, we do not recommend adding it, as the process is quite cumbersome for students and staff upon pick-up and dropoff.
